STANDARD CRYO ULTRAMICROTOME SYSTEM

Complete ultramicrotome with liquid nitrogen cryogenic system built-in. Designed for sample preparation in optical, electron and scanning probe microscopy. This system includes, zoom stereo microscope, Micro Star diamond knife and all the attachments and tools needed for starting room and cryo temperature ultramicrotomy.

Section thickness from 25nm to 5µ in 20 steps. Cutting speeds from 0.2 to 4 mm/sec. Operating temperatures from room to -115ºC. Cryo temperature stability ±1°C. 5 liter Dewar. LN consumption: 1.5 lit/hr. Instrument dimensions (without microscope): 38 x 38 x 19cm. Weight 18 Kg. 120V 100W. Dewar and valve: 37cm tall, 28cm diameter. The LN coupling hose is 76cm long.

Zoom binocular stereo microscope. 7 to 45 magnification with 10X W eyepieces. 100mm focusing distance. Fluorescent ring illuminator . Includes microscope mounting frame designed specifically for MS1. It provides freedom of adjustment for microscope position, distance, tilt and lateral swing. Also includes a free stand to use the microscope independently from the ultramicrotome.

2mm Micro Star diamond knife. Type SU (Standard Ultramicrotomy), boat style H. Or specify your choice from the Micro Star diamond knife catalog. Magnetic collet and adjustable angle specimen holders. Specimen preparation stand. 45°C electric warm plate for thawing specimens and chamber lids. Set of tools and attachments for room and cryo ultramicrotomy included.
